Organizers and Volunteers are very happy with the outcome of this years 40th Edition of the GPPA Oilmen's Curling Bonspiel which turned out to be a total success.
40 teams entered and some very determined curlers made it all the way to the six event finals on Saturday afternoon.
There was plenty of entertainment provided to keep the curlers busy (besides the entertainment they provided on their own) and many many memories created over the weekend.
Things like the "Kaidak - Wheel of Mis-Fortune", the Brayco Rentals/JDA Oilfield hauling "Ice Bar", the Thursday evening Comedy Show, the Awards night and "Larry the Cable Guy" performance and then top it off with the performance by local Band "The Privateers". So very much fun was had by all.
"Over Eighty Sponsors", helped provide funding for this event and their support is so Greatly appreciated.
Lifetime Memberships were awarded to;
Bill McLandress and JoAnn Weiss (First Female Lifetime Member)
Oilman of the Year for 2018 was awarded to Rob Petrone.
